Poppy Children design and print fabrics which they make into exciting children’s clothing. They print a fabric that they think is the bees’ knees and only use 100% cotton with a long staple, which is cool to wear, yet warm, durable and so comfortable.The pretty girls' dresses are perfect for everyday wear as well as special occasions, including parties and weddings. Team them with cardigans and coats to complete children's outfit.

Each fabrics feature the adventures of Poppy and her dog, Fred, which are depicted on the borders running around the hem of each dress. A little storybook comes with every dress, allowing you to follow the adventures of your favourite characters and each season, Poppy and Fred have a new exciting adventure and the fabrics and storybook tell the story.

The cotton has to be shrink, fade and crease resistant and wash at 60 degrees. The dyes have to be formaldehyde free to be safe for babies, and the cotton has to be strong and durable, so that everything we make will last for years and years. Close to home is the way Poppy and Baby Patisserie like it, so as much of their clothing as possible is made in the North-East of England. and all the left-over bits of fabric go into producing make-with-mum kits, purses and other small items, ensuring very little waste and a support British attitude.
